Assessments
Know what you have before you decide what you need.
Every OWL Lifecycle™ engagement starts with an assessment scoped to the environment — a network closet, a server room, a data center, or a facility about to take on AI. Each one returns a documented record and a Playbook.

PIIA™ — scoped in tiers, so you pay for the depth you need.
PIIA™ is Genoa's guided assessment of the power, cooling, rack, and cabling infrastructure in a room. Three tiers cover everything from a single closet to a data center.
PIIA™ Base
The documentation baseline for network closets and IDF/MDF environments. A guided capture of every rack and device — photographs, make/model/serial, UPS and battery status, measured load, room conditions, location — compiled into a standardized record.
Built to run across many sites consistently, and deliverable by your own team or your partner's field resources.
PIIA™ DX
The analyst-led assessment for server rooms and data centers. Everything in Base, plus findings and recommendations, thermal imaging of rack faces and cooling units, room environmental data, capacity and redundancy analysis, and a bill of materials.
This is the assessment you take into a capital request.
PIIA Atlas™
A floor-plan layer for any PIIA. Every closet, rack, and device is pinned to its location on the plan, so the record reads as a map of the site — and the next person can find the closet, not just the serial number.
AI Readiness Assessment
AIRAS™ — you can't deploy AI on infrastructure you haven't assessed.
AIRAS™ evaluates whether a facility's power, cooling, space, and connectivity can support a planned high-density deployment — from a single GPU rack to a dedicated AI room — before the hardware is ordered.
AIRAS can be attached to the AI hardware purchase itself, so the readiness assessment is bought alongside the equipment it protects.
Schedule an AIRAS discovery callWhat AIRAS looks at
- Power capacity and distribution against the planned load, by rack
- Cooling strategy — air, rear-door, or direct-to-chip — against the room you have
- Rack, floor, and structural fit
- A phased implementation roadmap and a specification you can procure from
Digital Twin Experience
DTX™ — walk the room without a site visit.
A measurable 3D capture of the room, hosted in an access-controlled portal, so anyone planning a change can see the space as it is. Available as an add-on to any PIIA or AIRAS engagement.
Where OWL assessments earn their keep.
K–12 and higher education
Hundreds of closets, a WiFi refresh on the horizon, and a board that needs to see something before it approves something.
Healthcare
Distributed sites where an unplanned UPS failure is a clinical problem, not an IT problem.
Enterprise and SLED
Leadership transitions, audits, M&A, and budget cycles that need a defensible infrastructure baseline.
AI and high-density planning
Anyone about to put a GPU rack somewhere that was built for a switch stack.
Scope starts with a conversation.
